Miley Cyrus dropped her new single, “We Can’t Stop,” on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Monday (June 3) and the former child star and new hip-hop darling is all grown up and ready to party.
Miley’s song, which starts off chopped and screwed and has a distinctively hip-hop beat thanks to producer Mike Will Made It, is an ode to doing what one wants to do, all the time, including twerking. "We like to party/ Dancing with Molly/ Doing whatever we want,” she sings on the chorus.
"To my homegirls here with the big butts/ Shaking it like we're at the strip club/ Remember only god can judge you/ Forget the haters, 'cause somebody loves 'ya," she continues. Miley is now notorious for setting the Internets ablaze when she posted a video of her twerking in a unicorn onesie a few weeks back.
This is the first track off Miley’s upcoming fourth studio album, which is slated for a fall release. "I'm really happy with my record. I'm in a good-bad situation where I just don't know what I want to go next," Miley said. "My record's kind of like a movie. It's really a story of what I've been going through.”
